About the reference browser toolbar buttons

The reference browser toolbar includes the buttons described in the following table:

Reference browser toolbar buttons
Icon Description

View document: Displays the selected document in a new viewing window.

Compare: Displays the differences between two selected documents in a new viewing window.

Show revisions of document: Displays the list of revisions of the selected document.

Properties: Displays the property pages for the selected document.
Refresh: Updates the view to display any new references created since the window was opened.
Show Assembly References: Displays only subassemblies or parts of the selected assembly.
Show Where Used: Displays only parent assemblies of the selected part or assembly.
Show Derivatives: Displays only documents derived from the selected document.
Show Master/Project Copies: Displays only master or project copies of the selected document related with the Master Project Copy reference type.

 Options: Displays the Options dialog, which can be used to configure the following options:

  • Display manual references. Display only references that can be created manually and are not created automatically by application links. Enabled by default.
  • Display inactive project copies. Along with active project copies, also display project copies that have been released as new master revisions, have been superseded by the master document, or have been merged with the master document. Enabled by default.
